MAPESIL AC

Mapesil AC Zero by Mapei is a one-component, pure silicone, acetic-curing sealant that is solvent-free and mold-resistant thanks to BioBlock® technology. It forms elastic, waterproof, and durable joints capable of accommodating movement of up to 25%.

It is suitable for sealing expansion joints, butt joints, and perimeter joints in ceramic tile, porcelain tile, glass, sanitary fixtures, and compatible non-absorbent surfaces. It is particularly well-suited for bathrooms, showers, kitchens, swimming pools, and other wet areas.

It is available in 39 colors coordinated with Mapei grout mortars, as well as in a transparent version, allowing for a uniform finish across the entire surface. It is applied with a caulking gun, has a working time of about ten minutes, and is supplied in 310-ml cartridges. One cartridge covers approximately 3.1 linear meters for 10 × 10 mm joints.
