MAPENET 150

Mapenet 150 by Mapei is an alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh designed to reinforce cementitious coatings and improve stress distribution across the substrate.

It is used as reinforcement in flexible waterproofing systems, anti-crack membranes, and exterior thermal insulation coatings. When integrated into compatible products such as Mapelastic, it helps limit the formation and propagation of cracks caused by movement, shrinkage, or minor deformations of the substrate.

The mesh is blue in color, weighs 150 g/m², and has a 4 × 4.5 mm grid pattern. During application, it must be completely embedded in the first fresh layer of mortar, with joints properly overlapped, before applying the subsequent layer. It is supplied in rolls 50 meters long by 1 meter wide and can be stored indefinitely in cool, dry conditions.
