MAPEGROUT T60
Thixotropic, fiber-reinforced, sulfate-resistant structural mortar for demanding concrete repairs.
General Description
Mapegrout T60 by Mapei is a thixotropic, fiber-reinforced, shrinkage-compensated cementitious mortar designed to repair concrete structures subjected to harsh environmental conditions. Its resistance to sulfates makes it particularly suitable for hydraulic works, infrastructure, and elements exposed to aggressive soils or water.
Main Applications
It is used to rebuild columns, beams, walls, tunnels, canals, reservoirs, and deteriorated concrete surfaces. Its R4 structural classification according to EN 1504-3 allows it to be used in projects requiring high mechanical performance and a durable repair.
Preparation and Coverage
It is mixed with approximately 16.5–17.5 parts water per 100 parts product, resulting in a thixotropic consistency suitable for vertical surfaces. Its approximate coverage is 18.5 kg/m² per centimeter of thickness when applied without additional aggregate. It is sold in 25-kg bags for professional use.
