General Description
Mapegrout SV by Mapei is a fluid, shrinkage-compensated, cementitious mortar with rapid setting and accelerated hardening. It is classified as an R4 structural mortar according to EN 1504-3 and is applied by pouring it into the prepared area or formwork.
Main Applications
It is particularly suitable for repairing concrete pavements and securing manhole covers, inspection chambers, gratings, signs, and street furniture. Its fluidity allows it to completely fill voids and cavities, facilitating uniform load distribution around the installed element.
Preparation and Variants
It is mixed with 12–13 parts water per 100 parts product and remains workable for about 15 minutes at 20 °C. It can be applied in layers 1 to 5 cm thick and has an approximate coverage rate of 20 kg/m² per centimeter. It is available in gray and black and is sold in 25-kg bags.
