General Description
Mapeflex MS 45 by Mapei is a single-component, thixotropic, fast-curing hybrid sealant and adhesive with a high modulus of elasticity. It can be applied to dry or damp substrates and accommodates joint movement of up to 20%.
Main Applications
It is used to seal joints and cracks in walls and floors and to bond common building materials. Its high initial tack facilitates the attachment of elements to vertical surfaces and ceilings, reducing the need for temporary supports.
Performance and Finish
It combines elasticity, adhesion, and water resistance in a single product. It can be painted once cured and is suitable for interior and exterior applications on compatible materials. Its consistency prevents sagging during vertical use and allows for durable, elastic bonds. It is available in white, various shades of gray, brown, and black, depending on availability. The surface must be sound, clean, and free of substances that could impair adhesion.
