General Description

Mapefix PE SF by Mapei is a fast-curing, two-component chemical anchor formulated with styrene-free polyester resin. It is designed for heavy-duty anchoring using threaded rods in various building materials.

Main Applications

It can be used in both hollow and solid substrates, such as concrete, brick, and mixed masonry. It is suitable for securing profiles, woodwork, installations, supports, metal elements, and building components. Holes can be drilled using rotation or rotary hammer drilling and must be clean, dry, or damp.

Setting Times and Packaging

At 20 °C, it offers approximately six minutes of workability. Full cure is achieved in about 45 minutes on a dry substrate and 90 minutes on a damp substrate. It supports fasteners ranging from M8 to M24, bears the CE mark, and has an ETA assessment for anchors in non-cracked concrete. It is sold in 300- and 380-ml cartridges for application with a caulking gun.
