General Description
Mapei’s Mapefix EP 100 is a two-component chemical anchor based on pure epoxy resin, designed for high-performance structural anchoring using threaded rods and steel reinforcement.
Main Applications
It is suitable for cracked and uncracked concrete, brick, mixed masonry, and other solid or hollow substrates. It can be used in holes drilled by rotary drilling, rotary hammer drilling, diamond core drilling, or tubular drill bits, even when the hole is dry, damp, or wet.
Certifications and Packaging
It has ETA assessments for anchors in tension and compression zones, connection of post-installed reinforcing bars, core drilling, and seismic applications C1 and C2. It is suitable for substrate temperatures between 0 and 40 °C during application. It is supplied in 585-ml cartridges and applied using the dedicated Mapei Gun 585 2K applicator.
