MAPEFAST CF/L
Chloride-free liquid antifreeze and setting accelerator additive for concrete and mortar in cold weather.
General Description
Mapefast CF/L by Mapei is a liquid setting accelerator additive, formulated with inorganic salts and free of chlorides. It promotes cement hydration, reduces setting times, and increases initial mechanical strength.
Main Applications
It is suitable for ready-mix concrete, precast elements, reinforced concrete, and slipform construction. It is particularly useful when working at temperatures below +10 °C, as it allows finishing operations to be brought forward, reduces formwork time, and optimizes production cycles.
Antifreeze Action and Format
It also reduces the risk of freezing of the water present in the fresh mix, although it does not replace the usual precautions for winter concrete placement. The recommended dosage is 0.75 to 3 liters per 100 kg of cement. It is supplied in 6- and 30-kg containers, 200-liter drums, and industrial-size packages.
