KERAPOXY P
Easy-to-apply, acid-resistant epoxy mortar for industrial joints with a minimum width of 3 mm.
General Description
Mapei’s Kerapoxy P is a two-component, acid-resistant epoxy mortar, classified as RG according to EN 13888, for filling joints of at least 3 mm. Its formulation makes it easy to apply and clean up, especially on large-area flooring.
Main Applications
It is suitable for ceramic and stone materials in both indoor and outdoor settings. It is used in food processing facilities, retail spaces, laboratories, kitchens, swimming pools with thermal or brackish water, and industrial flooring that requires hygiene, mechanical strength, and chemical resistance.
Performance and Presentation
It forms smooth, compact, non-absorbent joints that are resistant to heavy traffic and do not shrink. The mixture remains workable for about 45 minutes; the floor is ready for traffic after approximately 24 hours and resists chemical attack after four days. It is sold in pre-measured 10-kg containers, typically in color 113 (cement gray). For oleic acid or aromatic hydrocarbons, Kerapoxy IEG must be used.
