General Description
Mapei’s Kerapoxy Adhesive is a two-component reactive adhesive based on epoxy resins, silica sand, and special components. It is classified as R2T and offers high mechanical strength and zero vertical slip.
Main Applications
It is designed for installing ceramic tiles and stone materials on standard building substrates, on both walls and floors. Its thixotropic consistency facilitates application on vertical surfaces and allows for thicknesses of up to 10 mm in a single coat.
Performance and Timing
It cures through a chemical reaction, without shrinkage, forming a durable bond that is resistant to aging. The mixture remains workable for approximately 45 minutes and has an open time of 60 minutes. It allows for foot traffic after about 10–12 hours and is ready for use after two days. It is available in white and gray, in pre-measured 10-kg units.
