Two-component, slip-resistant epoxy-polyurethane adhesive for ceramic tiles, natural stone, and moisture-sensitive materials.
General Description
Mapei’s Keralastic T is a two-component, highly deformable epoxy-polyurethane reactive adhesive classified as R2T according to EN 12004. Its thixotropic consistency prevents tiles from slipping during vertical applications.
Main Applications
It is suitable for installing ceramic tiles, mosaics, stone, and glass elements on walls and floors, both indoors and outdoors. It is particularly well-suited for natural stone and composite materials that are sensitive to moisture or subject to movement and dimensional changes.
Performance and Packaging
It offers approximately 50 minutes of open time and allows for grouting and pedestrian traffic after about 12 hours. Full cure is achieved in approximately seven days. It is applied with a notched trowel, has an approximate coverage rate of 2.5 to 5 kg/m², and is available in white and gray, in pre-measured kits of 5 and 10 kg.
