KERABOND T
Non-slip cement-based adhesive for installing ceramic tiles on interior and exterior walls and floors.
General Description
Mapei’s Kerabond T is a standard cementitious powder adhesive designed for installing ceramic tiles with an adhesive layer thickness of up to 5 mm. Its formulation prevents vertical slippage, facilitating installation on walls and cladding.
Main Applications
It is suitable for installing mosaic tiles and ceramic tiles on stable cementitious substrates, both indoors and outdoors. The mixture retains its workability for more than eight hours and offers an open time of approximately 20 minutes.
Combination with Isolastic
When mixed with Isolastic instead of water, its performance is significantly improved, resulting in a high-performance, highly deformable adhesive classified as C2E S2. This combination is suitable for substrates or cladding subject to greater movement and thermal changes. Kerabond T is available in white and gray, is applied with a notched trowel, and is typically supplied in 25-kg bags.
