The 24 × 19 × 24 cm ceramic ring beam is designed for thick masonry walls, particularly 24 cm walls that require continuous horizontal reinforcement. Its wide cross-section creates an internal channel suitable for accommodating the fill and reinforcement specified in the structural calculations. It can be used in the construction of lintels, copings, tie beams, and supports associated with floor slabs. One of its advantages is that it allows the reinforcement to be integrated within the wall’s own width, avoiding abrupt changes in material on the exterior surface. Compared to narrower versions, it offers a considerably larger cavity and is intended for larger-scale projects. The 24-cm length allows for precise modularity and facilitates the construction of joints or short spans. According to the manufacturer, it has an approximate internal cavity of 160 × 150 mm, is supplied on pallets of 80 pieces, and weighs approximately 7.050 kg per unit. It must be backfilled and reinforced according to project specifications, as the ceramic piece alone does not constitute a complete structural element.
