Description and Details
Composed of a gypsum core treated with water-repellent additives and covered with layers of cardboard, green on both sides. The Impregnated board is characterized by its low water absorption, non-combustibility, and significant advantages in terms of handling (creating curves or decorative shapes). Available as a lightweight board (Knauf Lightboard H1) and in DIY-size panels (2000x600x12.5)
Product Properties
Manufactured in accordance with UNE EN 520, the Knauf Impregnated board is classified as Type H1.
Cardboard color (visible side): green.
The water-repellent treatment ensures that, even when in direct contact with water, the board maintains its strength for 24 hours.
Easy to work with.
Non-combustible.
Can be bent.
Minimal shrinkage and swelling due to temperature changes.
Applications
Knauf Impregnated panels can be used in any indoor space with controlled ambient humidity. Suitable for areas where permanent humidity does not exceed 70% (restrooms, residential bathrooms, kitchens, etc.).
