Upright profile for vertical systems

Montante C 48/35/0,6 · Knauf

Description and Details

The studs serve to support the panels and absorb the stresses inherent to their components, without any external load-bearing function. The studs are used in a vertical position for the installation of self-supporting wall systems and partitions, as a framework for securing laminated gypsum panels. They come in various widths, all of which are 1 mm narrower than the channels, allowing them to be inserted into the channels. Not recommended for standard ceilings.

Properties

The profiles are made of galvanized steel sheet, type DX51D (Fe Po 2 G), with a minimum coating of Z-140 g/m².

Standard star pattern (N) and ordinary finish A (all in accordance with UNE EN 14195).

The nominal thickness is 0.6 mm (+0.05) for vertical load-bearing elements (studs and headers).

Scope of Application

They are used in wall linings, partitions, and other drywall construction units as a framework for securing gypsum board and comply with the UNE EN 14195 standard.
