Description and Details

The channels serve to support the panels and absorb the stresses inherent to their components, without any external load-bearing function. The channels are used as perimeter profiles for the installation of self-supporting wall linings, partitions, and ceilings, as a framework for securing laminated gypsum panels. They come in different widths, depending on the total thickness of the system to be constructed. Not recommended for standard ceilings.

Product Properties

The profiles are made of galvanized steel sheet, type DX51D (Fe Po 2 G), with a minimum coating of Z-140 g/m².

Standard star pattern (N) and ordinary finish A (all in accordance with UNE EN 14195).

The thicknesses have a nominal value of 0.55 mm (+0.05) for horizontal elements (channels and angles).

Applications

They are used in wall linings, partitions, ceilings, and other drywall construction elements as a framework for securing gypsum board and comply with the UNE EN 14195 standard.
